3-Way Stop (R1.3)

Regulatory

Come to a complete stop. The vehicle that stopped first has the right to proceed first. Proceed only when it is safe to do so.

4-Way Stop (R1.4)

Come to a complete stop behind the stop line. If more than one vehicle stops, the vehicle that stopped first moves off first. Proceed only when safe.

No Entry (R3)

Regulatory

No traffic may proceed past this sign. Do not enter the carriageway where this sign is displayed.

One-Way Roadway (R4.2)

Regulatory

Traffic flows in one direction only, in the direction indicated by the arrow. Proceed in the direction of the arrow only.

Pedestrian Priority (R5)

Regulatory

Give priority to pedestrians. Drive carefully at a maximum of 15 km/h if you are driving an authorized vehicle.

Bring your vehicle to a complete stop behind the stop line. If there is no stop line, stop in line with the sign. Proceed only when it is safe.

Yield the right of way to other traffic. Slow down and, if necessary, stop before proceeding when it is safe.

Slow down and be prepared to stop. Yield the right of way to horse riders crossing or near the road.
